East Brainerd Community Theater
The East Brainerd Community Theater is a ministry of Christ United Methodist Church and exists to bring quality stage productions to the East Brainerd community, produced and presented by members of the community. All are welcome. Our goal is to present one musical and one play per year.
SAT. MARCH 15 SHOW:SEVERE WEATHER STATEMENT
Dear Patrons: Thanks for your ticket purchase for the Saturday March 15 performance at 2:30 PM. We will be presenting our 2:30 matinee of "Dearly Departed" today, March 15 as scheduled. We will be monitoring the weather closely throughout the performance and have an emergency plan ready to enact if needed. If it is safe for you to attend, we will be here and hope you can join us for the show! Thanks and we hope to see you soon!

In the Baptist backwoods of the Bible belt, the beleaguered Turpin family proves that living and dying in the South are seldom tidy and always hilarious. Despite their best efforts to pull themselves together for their father’s funeral, the Turpins’ other problems keep overshadowing the solemn occasion.
